Canon Ir 2016 Download Standby Error

I believe this is just a glitch in the copier. You need to do a printer reset. I do believe this will get rid of all the internal information of the copier -addresses, network setting, etc. Hopefully someone printed out the data lists after the intial install. Press the additional function key, 2 key, 8 key, additional function key. Press the left arrow key, below the display, until #CLEAR comes up.

How to fix isdone dll error while installing the game. Press OK, then left arrow until ALL. Then wait and copier will cycle. Hopefully all is well then.

You will ahve to intall all, settings as a new install. Posted on Dec 09, 2010.

I also had the ' DOWNLOAD STANDBY' error message on my iR1023iF. None of the keys would work for me and I could not find any downloads that were not malware BUT I did discover by happenstance and much frustration the following: • Disconnect and switch off everything • Press and hold the ' Additional Function' key • Connect power and switch on the printer • Press ' ON/OFF' • You can now release the ' Additional Function' key • Your printer should display the word ' INITIALIZING' • Everything has been reset to factory defaults and is ready to go Hope this helps those who also do not have access to the maintenance software from Canon.

I fixed the problem: 1. Unplug printer from power source and wait a few minutes. While waiting, restart the computer (I didn't shut down and reboot, just restarted it.) 3. Plug printer back into power source. Do not turn printer on immediately. Instead, hold down the STOP key on the printer and keep it pressed down as you turn the power button ON. Keep holding the STOP key down until the printer has completely booted up, then release it.

That got everything working again and allowed me to print my document.
