As GER said - Lazy Cam is relatively new and it does not work perfectly but it does work and for the price you can't beat it. I did not start this thread to bash Lazy Cam. DXFs are no problem with Mach. As GER said - Lazy Cam is relatively new and it does not work perfectly but it does work and for the price you can't beat it.

This is one of the finest real-time strategy games in years, and whether you’re new to the genre or have been studying Protoss build orders for the past decade, there’s something here to delight you. Starcraft 2 wings of liberty download free full game torrent.

I did not start this thread to bash Lazy Cam. This thread was started as a general discussion about this software. I was surprised to see that a thread did not exist already. I am satisfied with it although I am looking forward to the inevitable improvements. Some of the current issues I have noticed are: Creating cutting order is difficult. The code is there but it's not in the correct order based on the original drawing’s layer information or on the sequence identified in LazyCam.

Manual editing of the code is required to get the desired order and in many cases, the start points must be manipulated to create an efficient tool path – it’s a back and forth with lots and lots of editing but it beats coding it manually (most of the time). It would be nice to see options for general cutting sequence – such as cut from inside to outside, left to right or top to bottom. Daily thanthi jothidam. Or maybe a “select cutting order” option which would be based the order in which you manually select the entities. Some entities in a DXF are sometimes completely ignored - this seems to be relatively random but may be related to the integrity of the creation of the polyline but this has happened to me on more than one occasion. For example - the first segment of an open polyline might be ignored while the rest of the polyline is cut.

There is always a goofy move associated with the failure – like a G1 move that would otherwise be a G0. I am attempting to find a trend with this error to be of help to the developers. I have been generating drawings for machining for quite a long time and I know that the data has to be clean - no gaps, overlapping lines, etc. And I know this error is not because of bad data. The DXF data does not appear on the screen when first loaded into LazyCam - you have to turn the layers on in order to see any of the geometry. It seems that they would default 'on' and they would use definable default speeds and feeds. I am looking forward to future releases and will continue to carry the flag for Art and his crew.

Hi, I know that LazyCam has some limitations and that it seems to be fairly low priority in the Mach scheme but as an alternative, no one yet has mentioned Cam Bam, It works extremely well at importing DXF files and it is very easy to re-order entities. There is a free version but I am not totally sure of what the differences are between that and the licensed version. It is also good for actually drawing your parts too. I know that Andy at CamBam is working on some 3D functionality too.

Just a thought.
