I've been using Rocketdock and Stacks Docklet in my setup for many years with no problems whatsoever. This evening it didn't appear on start-up, and wouldn't show up after killing the process and reloading. Then after resetting to default icons, it started crashing, to the point where I had to hard reset my PC because it was even killing explorer.exe. I eventually narrowed the problem down (after a handful of uninstall and reinstalls) to Stacks Docklet (v1). Without Stacks Docklet installed, everything works perfectly.

But put it back in, and Rocketdock continues to crash and kill the whole PC. I've tried installing Stacks Docklet v2 and following the instructions to make that work (changing permissions and running as administrator etc), and v2 works fine, but doesn't look as nice. The same steps do not work for v1. Anyone got any idea why this is happening or how to fix it?

Literally no changes have been made to Rocketdock for years, and this just started happening at random this evening. Mods, if you feel this should be elsewhere or doesn't belong here, please let me know where to post it.
