Install Cydia Package Without Dependencies
In theory, it should be possible for someone to write a tweak (stand alone, definitely.built into Cydia, maybe) that reads these package files and parses the package name, tweak name, version, dependencies, etc. The method suggested by gameking30578. In terminal type: apt-cache showpkg com.package.name. Does just that. Install your package without its dependencies. This does not seem to work if the package had 'Depends' or 'Imports' as well. What is the correct way to install a local package, so that its dependencies are pulled from CRAN? Use tools::package_dependencies() to find the (non-recursive) >> dependencies.
I had to restore my phone this morning as I had a tweak (possibly Auxo) that killed my bluetooth and I couldn't get it working. So, just finished by JB and as usual the first thing I installed was BiteSMS. I have a few other things to install, but every single one of them (Lockinfo, five icon dock, winterboard) is saing that it can't install because it has dependencies.eg libactivator, preferenceloader.I can't find these anywhere so can't install it. Aldl usb driver. I don't remember having to do this last time. Anyone suggest what I've missed?
Strangely, Cydia hasn't offered me any updates since I first installed it (usually there are some I'm sure) but I'm not getting any errors when trying to access libraries which suggests it's managed to access everything it needs, but now I'm stuck since I can't install dependencies, and therefore can't install any apps ideas?
